Capabilities
Different technical disciplines. One project.
Most real objectives need more than one discipline. This is what BIRTH Systems can combine behind a single project, and how they fit together.
Looking for what you can hire us to do? That is Services. This page is the technical breadth behind it.
Core disciplines
Six disciplines, combined as the work needs.
Named the way a client would name them first, with the technical detail underneath rather than in front.

How they combine
One project usually crosses three of them.
“We want customers to track their own orders.” That single sentence needs a digital product for the customer, software and integration to reach the order system, and data to make the status trustworthy — delivered as one build rather than three suppliers.
The rule Disciplines combine around what you need. What you need is never reshaped to fit a discipline we happen to prefer.
Technical depth
Architecture
Services sized to the requirement, with the contracts between components defined so one part can be replaced without rebuilding the rest.
Data
Relational modelling, migrations under version control, lineage from a reported figure back to the records that produced it.
Integration
REST, webhooks and event-driven interfaces, with retry, idempotency and durable queues where a repeat must not duplicate work.
Security
Authentication, role and record-level permissions, audit trails on consequential state changes, secrets held outside the codebase.
Verification
Automated tests for behaviour, permissions and failure paths, and evidence produced before anything is called delivered.
Operations
Deployment, structured logging, error reporting and monitoring at the depth the agreed scope calls for.
BIRTH's role in this
The company delivers. The software supports it.
You hire BIRTH Systems and work with Dinis. BIRTH is the proprietary software environment used inside the company to help organise, analyse, build and verify authorised work — it is not the thing being sold, and it holds no authority over a consequential decision.
