Build
Real software, data and systems.
- You provide Access, decisions and responses when something needs confirming
- BIRTH does Builds, analyses or models with the disciplines the objective needs
- You receive Working results you can see progressing, not a status report
Verify & deliver
Checked against the objective, then handed over.
- You provide Review of the delivered work against what was agreed
- BIRTH does Tests behaviour, permissions and failure paths, not only the happy path
- You receive The agreed deliverables, handover documentation and any agreed support arrangements
The session
A working conversation, not a pitch.
The session exists to understand the work — so we can tell you honestly whether there's a good project here, and what it would take. Online, and directly with the person responsible for delivery.

- The data, systems and tools already in play.
- Constraints, risks and the unknowns worth surfacing early.
- What a good result looks like — and how we'd know.
- Whether the requested deadline is realistic.
Where a request stands
An enquiry is an opportunity, not an accepted job.
Five stages, and you are told which one you are at. Sometimes the honest answer at review is no — if the work is not a good fit, we say so rather than scoping it anyway.

The deadline rule
Your requested deadline is a request. We confirm what's realistic before committing.
If you need something by Tuesday, tell us Tuesday. We'll assess feasibility honestly rather than promise a date we can't stand behind. An honest timeline beats a broken one.
